This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No:160/2021 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S Jaffarpur Kalan, based on settlement arrived at between the parties dated 29th August 2024, which is on record of this Court.

As per the settlement, petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have amicably resolved their disputes and are living together in peace and harmony as a married couple, along with their two minor children born out of wedlock, since 10th April 2024. Respondent no.2 states that she has no objection to quashing of the FIR.

Petitioner nos.1 and 3 to 6 as also respondent no. 2/ complainant are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the counsel. At request of counsel for petitioners, appearance of petitioner no.2 is exempted. 4.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No:160/2021 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S Jaffarpur Kalan Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending application is disposed of as infructuous.
