This Petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extension of time till 16.03.2025 to pass an Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal. 2.
Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 11.07.2022 and the first meeting was held on the same day i.e., 11.07.2022. Material on record indicates that upon statement of both the parties, the time for pronouncement of the Arbitral Award was extended by six months i.e., upto 16.09.2024 vide Order dated 29.02.2024 passed by the Arbitral Tribunal.

objection for extension of time for mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, however, he denies all the factual averments/legal objections made in the petition on the merits of the case.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months from 17.09.2024 so that the award can be pronounced. 5.
It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations on the factual averments/legal objections made in the petition on the merits of the case.

The Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
