% 05.03.2018 Counsel for the respondent no. 2 has not disputed that settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, inasmuch as settled amount stands paid. "No Dues Certificate" has also been placed on record. Counsel for the respondent no. 2 submits that respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR

No.492/2016 under Sections 135/138 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.) 2003 registered at Police Station Amar Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
