This writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate independent proceedings inasmuch as counsel for the respondent no.1/bank states that there is some issue with respect to entitlement of the petitioner being selected, inasmuch as, there may arise question of unfair means, but that aspect according to the counsel for the respondent no.1 is not clear today.

Accordingly, when the respondent no.1 takes a decision, and W.P.(C) No.2159/2017

which decision is expected to be taken within a period of two months from today, respondent no.1 will inform the petitioner as to his selection or nonselection by means of a speaking order, and petitioner at that stage if is not held entitled to be appointed/selected, petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate independent proceedings.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
