The petitioners seek protection to the life and liberty from Respondent No.2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are major and married each other without the consent of the family of Petitioner No.1.

She submits that the family of Petitioner No.1 especially Respondent No.2 who happens to be the uncle of Petitioner No.1 is threatening the petitioners of dire consequences. 4.

She, however, submits that Respondent No.2 resides in Dehradun and the threat has been received over the telephone. 5.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, at the outset, submits that the mobile number of the concerned Beat Officer of the area where the petitioners reside in Delhi would be provided to the learned counsel for the petitioners and the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. petitioners are at liberty to call the Beat Officer in case, they apprehend any threat to life and liberty while they are staying in. 6.

He submits that as and when any such call is received, appropriate action would be taken forthwith.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.
