The petitioner seeks several directions with respect to alleged nonperformance of the parking contracts awarded to respondent Nos.4 to 6, in District Centre, Laxmi Nagar and certain other places. 2.

This Court had issued notice and expanded the scope of the proceedings to examine the manner in which the parking contracts were awarded and the management of such contracts given that the successful bidders frequently failed to deposit the licence fee. The reply/counter affidavit of respondent Nos.1 to 3, alleged that the petitioner was an unsuccessful bidder in respect of the parking contract and that this fact was W.P.(C) No.2968/2013

withheld in the pleadings. The petitioner does not deny this. Furthermore, during the pendency of these proceedings, the petitioner was also awarded parking contract since he was successful.

In these circumstances, the Court is of the opinion that there is no public interest involved in these proceedings; no relief of the kind sought can be granted under Article 226 of the Constitution of India since they are the matter of contract between the private respondents and respondent Nos.1 to 3 - in respect of which the petitioner has no privity of contract. 4.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed.
