The petitioner is seeking initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondents/ Labour Department/GNCTD, alleging the wilful defiance of the directions contained in the order dated 06.09.2024 in W.P.(C)No. 12477/2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent is present along with the Officer concerned.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the respondent that the Labour Department/GNCTD was not a party to the main writ petition, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and anyhow the issue has since been sorted out and as per the instructions, the jurisdiction lies with the South District. 6.

After some arguments, the petitioner is directed to submit fresh representation along with all the relevant documents with the Deputy Labour Commissioner, South District, Government of NCT of Delhi, within 15 days from today, thereafter the representation after hearing, if necessary, be decided in accordance with the law by passing a reasoned order, within eight weeks.

The present contempt petition is disposed of on the basis of aforesaid directions.
