O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted on behalf of the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 764/2014 registered under Sections 354/392/34 IPC at Police Station Madhu Vihar, Delhi in which the charge-sheet has been filed under Sections 323/354/392/397/506/34 IPC on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner assaulted and harassed the respondent No.2.

Mr. Shoaib Haider, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is the accused and respondent No. 2 is the complainant/victim in the present case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present FIR was registered due to misunderstanding and with the intervention of the elders, close relatives and well-wishers, the parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2019, a copy whereof has been placed on record. In terms of the said settlement, respondent No. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 2/complainant is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioner. He further states that the co-accused Arun Kumar Tyagi and Ritu Tyagi have separately preferred their petition being Crl. M.C. 8308/2024 and the aforesaid FIR qua them already stands quashed by this Court vide order dated 24.10.2024. He states that the petitioner is the only remaining accused in this case.

The petitioner is present in person and is identified by her counsel as well as the Investigating Officer/ SI Abhay Bhati PS Madhu Vihar, Delhi. Respondent No. 2 is also present in person and is identified by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioner has shown remorse for her conduct and she undertakes not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No. 2 also states that she has entered into the aforementioned settlement out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.
The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 10.
