This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 286/2022 PS Ghazipur under Sections 323/341/354/354-B/509/506/34 IPC basis settlement arrived at between the parties dated 09th September, 2024, which is on record of this Court.

The petitioner Nos.1-2 and respondent No.2 are present before this Court and duly identified by the IO. Respondent No.2 states that she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. The FIR was registered in 2022. Charge-sheet has already been filed.

Petitioners will deposit a cost of Rs.11,000/- collectively which shall be paid to the Secretary, Delhi State Legal Service Authority, Karkardooma The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Courts within a period of two weeks.

An affidavit of compliance shall be placed before this Court within two weeks thereafter.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 286/2022 PS Ghazipur under Sections 323/341/354/354-B/509/506/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
