This is a petition seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus directing respondent nos. 1 to 4 to provide protection to the petitioner from respondent nos. 5 to 8.

Respondent nos. 5 and 6 are stated to be the brothers, while respondent nos. 7 and 8 are the son and daughter-in-law of the petitioner. 3.

The Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent nos. 7 and 8 have been threatening the petitioner and his other children in order to usurp his property. He states that respondent no. 5 to 8 on 17.08.2025 trespassed into the petitioner's house, hurled abused and manhandled him The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and forcibly took his signatures on certain documents and regarding this he made a complaint at Police Station Jaitpur but no action has been taken on such complaint. He further submits that respondents nos. 5 to 8 are influential persons and he apprehends that they may harm his life and liberty.

The Ld. Counsel appearing for respondent no. 5 to 8 on advance notice refute the allegations made and states that signatures were not obtained forcibly and it was a mutual family settlement. 5.

It is the duty of the State to protect the life and liberty of all the citizens and this Court being a Constitutional Court is bound to further the constitutional rights of the citizens. Since petitioner apprehends threat from respondent no. 5 to 8, SHO, Police Station, Jaitpur (respondent no. 4) is directed to ensure the safety and security of the petitioner and to share the mobile numbers of the Beat Constables of the area where the petitioner is residing so that in case of need, the petitioner may immediately contact the Beat Constable of the area for assistance. The SHO, PS Jaitpur is directed to suitably counsel the beat constable of the area. 6.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.
