The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking prayer for restoration of electricity supply to the commercial premises under the name 'Bhupat House', bearing property no. 9091, Plot no.3, Block 2, Khasra No. 596/3, situated at Desh Bandhu Gupta Road, Paharganj, New Delhi, which has been leased to the petitioner for operating a restaurantcum-bar. 2.

There is a further prayer for restraining the respondent nos. 4 and 5, i.e., landlords of the property in question, from further interfering with the supply of electricity in the property in question. 3.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 submits that the petitioner was a tenant in the subject premises and has since vacated the premises and handed over the possession to the respondent nos. 4 and 5.
