The petitioner runs a petrol pump dealership at Premises No. 2, Sham Nath Marg, Civil Lines, Delhi - 110054. It has filed this writ petition complaining of a blocked sewer line for which it has raised a grievance on 24.07.2023.

According to the petitioner, action has not been taken despite the passage of fourteen months since the complaint was made. Ms. Sangeeta Bharti, learned counsel for Delhi Jal Board [DJB"], who appears on advance notice, states that an inspection will be carried out within the next one week, and necessary action will commence as expeditiously as possible, and not later than two weeks thereafter.
