Senior Counsel for petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition with liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings pursuant to conclusion of the ongoing investigation. It is stated by Senior Counsel for petitioner that the charges of Section 420/467/468 IPC cannot be sustained against the petitioner in view of the allegations made in the FIR which are essentially against Ms. Preeti Chawla. Senior Counsel for petitioner also states that it is a case of delayed investigation.

ASC for State, however, opposes the above contentions and states that charges under Section 120B IPC have also been alleged. ASC for State also submits that the petitioner is not co-operating in the investigation. Irrespective of these contentions, the petitioner is at liberty to take steps in accordance with law after the investigation is complete. 4.
