% 26.09.2018 During the course of hearing, petitioner and respondent have settled their disputes amicably.

Petitioner has offered `3 lakhs to respondent towards full and final settlement for all his claims involved in the cheque in question. Respondent has accepted the offer of the petitioner. Respondent says that he has no objection in case offence under section 138 of Negotiable Act, 1881 is compounded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent voluntarily, inasmuch as, settled amount having been paid by the petitioner to respondent in Court, the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Act, 1881 is compounded. Petitioner is acquitted.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.

Date fixed earlier, 13th March, 2019, stands cancelled. Dasti.
