This is a writ petition seeking grant of parole for a period of 30 days in case FIR no. 96/2012, PS Sarai Rohilla registered under section 302 IPC. 2.

Petitioner is serving sentence of life imprisonment by judgment and order dated 15.01.2019 and 16.01.2019 respectively, passed by the Sessions Court.

The Criminal Appeal No. 620/2019 has been dismissed by this Court vide judgment dated 10.05.2023.

Petitioner preferred SLP which is stated to be pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

attending the barsi of his mother on 30.09.2025 and to attend his sister who has undergone surgery and her medical documents are annexed as annexure P-6.

The Ld. Addl. Standing Counsel submits that petitioner is already on furlough and scheduled to surrender on 17.09.2025 and in terms of rule 1212 of Delhi Prisons Rule, 2018, there should be one month gap between parole and last furlough and vice-versa.

In WP (CRL) 4080/2024 the Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 30.07.2025 directed that the petition filed by the present petitioner be treated as a representation to be considered by appropriate administrative authority but such representation has not been decided so far. 8.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by the Ld. Addl. Standing Counsel appearing for the State who seeks time to place on record the status report. 9.

Let the same be filed on or before the next date. 10.

Re-notify on 15.09.2025.
