Since, the matter is taken up today for hearing, the instant application has rendered infructuous.

The application stands disposed of as rendered infructuous. I.A. 36744/2024 (for release of rent and house keys on behalf of petitioner No.1) 1.

Mr.Kushagra Kumar, Senior Panel Counsel makes a request to extend the time for release of rent on the ground that the office of the concerned Ministry has been shifted to a new place; and therefore, the file got misplaced. to collect the necessary information and the same shall be processed with due expedition.

As a last indulgence, time is extended to release the rent in favour of the petitioners as per their entitlement in terms of final settlement. 3.

Let the compliance report be placed on record before the next date of hearing, failing which the concerned officer shall remain personally present. 4.

It appears that a cheque has been deposited by the concerned Ministry as has been noted in order dated 04.11.2024. The same shall be returned to Mr.Kushagra Kumar, Senior Panel Counsel for respondent-MCD by the Registry.
