% 21.03.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the respondent no.1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Kapil Yaduvanshi of polices station Vasant Kunj (North). Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the disputes of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she has no objection in case FIR No. 61/2016 under Sections 354D/506/509 IPC registered at police station Vasant Kunj North is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to, however, costs of `15,000/- to be deposited with the Delhi High Court Bar Association Employees Welfare Fund within two weeks.

Receipt, evidencing deposit of costs, be handed over to the Investigating Officer.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
