O R D E R

% 10.04.2024 CM APPL. 21691/2024 (Seeking disposal of the petition in terms of Mediation Settlement dated 15th March, 2024) Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties submitted that the parties have settled the dispute amicably vide a Mediation settlement dated 15th March, 2024 arrived at between the parties before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rouse Avenue District Courts, New Delhi. It is further submitted that in terms of the said settlement, a total amount of Rs.4,80,000/- already stands paid by the Management by issuing a demand draft in the name of the workman on 5th April, 2024.

In reply to a specific Court query, the workman, appearing in person, submitted that the amount as agreed vide the settlement agreement already stands paid to him and thus nothing is left for further adjudication in the present petition.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the amount of Rs.1,47,496/- deposited by the petitioner with Registrar The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. General of this Court by way of an FDR (maturing in June 2024) in terms of the order dated 21st April, 2009 along with interest accrued thereon be released to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent does not oppose the prayed made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeking release of the amount deposited in terms of order dated 21st April, 2009 along with interest accrued thereupon. In view of the above, the Registry is directed to release the amount deposited in terms of order dated 21st April, 2009 along with interest accrued thereon on maturity of the FDRs in June, 2024, after verification of the proof of identity to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. W.P.(C) 8379/2009 The matter is listed in the " Regular Category" and taken up today in view of the orders of even date in CM APPL. No.21691/2024 seeking disposal of the petition in terms of the settlement dated 15th March, 2024 arrived at between the parties.

Since the dispute between the parties already stands settled, nothing is left for further adjudication in the instant writ petition. The writ petition is thus disposed of.
