The present petition has been filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

It is stated that the arbitration is at the stage of recording of evidence of the claimant witnesses.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent supports the case of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of six (6) months from today.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate had otherwise expired on 26th July, 2025.
