Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Sr. Standing Counsel for Customs has returned with instructions. He has placed before me a copy of the letter dated 28.2.2018 addressed to him by the Deputy Commissioner of Customs, SIIB(X)/JNCH. Broadly, via this letter, the department has conveyed to Mr. Narula that the instructions issued to the Indian Overseas Bank to de-freeze the A/c no.130502000002627 of the petitioner have been withdrawn. 2.

A copy of this letter has also been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

In these circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner says that he does not wish to press the present writ petition any further.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of accordingly.
