CRL.M.(BAIL) 2185/2024 (for extension of interim bail for four weeks) 1.

By way of present application, the applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of four weeks which was granted to him vide order dated 08.10.2024 in FIR No. 83/2017 registered under Sections 452/307/302/506 IPC and Sections 27/30 of the Arms Act at P.S. Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi on the ground of medical condition of the applicant's wife.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the present application seeking an extension of interim bail has been filed on the premise that applicant's wife, who continues to suffer from high mental distress, has developed an ailment of FITs and requires treatment. 3.

while considering that the applicant's wife is suffering from seizures/fits due to high mental distress as well as considering the verification report to that effect placed on record, granted interim bail to the applicant for a period of four weeks. It was also noted that the applicant has two minor children aged about 10 and 12 years, who need to be looked after. Besides, the applicant's wife and his aged father, who runs a tea shop in Ghaziabad, it was noted that there is no one else in the family to look after the children. 4.

Considering the aforesaid, the interim bail of the applicant is extended by another period of two weeks on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 08.10.2024. It is directed that upon expiry of the said period, the applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
