This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of one year for completion of the arbitral proceedings and passing of the final Award.

It is stated that the respondent's witness was hospitalised and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondents. 4.

Mr. Maan, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. Hence, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of one year from today. 6.

The period from 05.09.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
