This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of learned Sole Arbitrator. 2.

Petitioner was awarded the work of Civil, Electrical and E/M Services etc., by PWD/Sonepat on 14.01.2014 and in turn it issued a Work Order dated 20.03.2018 to the Respondent for part work with respect to Hostel block/Library block and Boundary wall. Disputes arose between the Petitioner and the Respondent and Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P. 520/2023, seeking appointment of an Arbitrator, which was allowed on 02.08.2023 appointing a Sole Arbitrator. It is stated that the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator has expired on 11.09.2025 and the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 751/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Mr. Vishal Chauhan, learned counsel enters appearance on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions submits that Respondent has no objection to the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator being extended. 4.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 9 months from 12.09.2025. 5.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
