The present Petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal to pass an Arbitral Award which is due to expire on 30.09.2024.

Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 08.10.2021. Material on record indicates that on 28.03.2023, the Parties had jointly agreed to extend the arbitration proceedings and vide Order dated 28.03.2023 passed by the Ld. Arbitrator, the arbitration proceedings were extended upto 17.10.2023. Material on record further indicates that vide Order dated 19.10.2023 passed by this Court, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was further extended till 30.09.2024. 3.

no objection for extension of time for mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 4.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal from 30.09.2024 till 30.06.2025 so that the award can be pronounced.

Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
