This is an application preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 151 CPC for a direction to the Respondent/University to release the leave encashment of the Petitioner along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2.

At the outset, Mr. Chimni, learned counsel for the Petitioner hands over an Office Order dated 19.12.2024 whereby leave encashment has been sanctioned to the Petitioner by the Competent Authority with respect to earned leaves for 259 days and half pay leave for 41 days standing to his credit post his retirement from the University. Order also records that vigilance inquiry has been obtained from Central Vigilance Officer of the University. Office order is stated to be issued with the approval of the Competent Authority and is taken on record.

As the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed, no further order is required to be passed.

Leave encashment to which Petitioner is entitled to will be released to him within a period of six weeks from today.

In view of the application being CM APPL. 75198/2024, writ petition is taken up for hearing and in view of the order passed in the said application, writ petition is disposed of.
