W.P.(CRL) 3043/2024 and CRL.M.A. 29595/2024 1.

By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks the following prayers:- "A. Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent to consider the case of the Petitioner for premature release under the policy dated 16.7.04;

B. Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to the State Government and direct the release of the petitioner under the policy of premature release dated 16.7.04 forthwith."

It is informed that the petitioner's furlough is coming to an end on 11.10.2024.

NCT of Delhi) petitioner's case is under active consideration with the competent authority in terms of Clause 3.2 of the Remission Policy No.F.18/5/94/Home(Genl) dated 16.07.2004. Learned ASC confirms that it will be considered in the next meeting of the Sentence Review Board (SRB), if not already considered.

In view of the above submissions, no orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
