% 12.03.2026 By way of present petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 the petitioner (wife) seeks expeditious disposal of Ex. No.28/2025 titled as Shiwangi & Ors. vs. Vijay Kumar Rohilla, pending before the learned family court, which relates to execution of order dated 19.10.2024 passed by the learned family court awarding ad-interim maintenance of Rs. 10,000/- per month.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the parties have a minor child, who is a girl aged about 05 years; and the petitioner is supporting the child on her own. 3.

The allegation against respondent No. 2 is that he is working in the Merchant Navy, is earning about $7,800 per month; and is deliberately not maintaining the petitioner and their child. The petitioner prays that despite the execution proceedings having been filed in January 2025, the matter is still pending at the same stage.

Learned ASC appears on behalf of respondent No.1(State) on advance copy; and submits, that they have no role in the matter. 7.

In view of the prayer made, it is not considered necessary to issue notice to respondent No.2.

The petition is accordingly disposed-of, with a direction to the learned family court to give priority to Ex. No.28/2025; and to dispose-of the same as expeditiously as possible, and preferably, within 02 months of the next date of hearing before that court, which is stated to be 20.03.2026.

The petition is disposed-of in the above terms. 10.
