1.

The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent nos. 1 to 3, to update the record of property bearing Municipal No. 313/37B, Inder Lok, Delhi-110035 (Khasra No. 273), in the record of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), Sub-Registrar Office and Revenue Authorities, against the Old No. 87, Block B (Old Khasra No. 275 and New No. 273), for all purposes.

2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that when the petitioner purchased the said property, the same was numbered as 87, Block The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

B. However, subsequently a new Municipal Number was allotted and at present, the property is identified as Municipal No. 313/37B, Inder Lok, Delhi-110035.

3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has been paying property tax, electricity bills, etc., with respect to the new Municipal No. 313/37B, Inder Lok, Delhi-110035. 4.

Thus, he submits that the records be updated, as the petitioner is not able to further dispose of the property in question on account of the discrepancy in the sale deed, which reflects the old property number and not the new Municipal Number of the property in question. 5.

Responding to the present writ petition, learned counsel appearing for MCD, on instructions, submits that the property of the petitioner has been inspected on 13th September, 2025.

6.

He submits that the concerned Officers of the MCD have verified that the property bearing Municipal No. 313/37B, Inder Lok, Delhi-110035 is occupied by Manilal and Brothers, i.e., the petitioner herein, and that the property tax, electricity bills, etc., are also being paid by Manilal and Brothers, through its authorized signatory, i.e., Ramesh Chand Sharma, with respect to the aforesaid property.

7.

Considering the submissions made before this Court and the verification done by the MCD, it is clarified that the Municipal No. 313/37B, Inder Lok, Delhi-110035, is for the same property which earlier had the Old No. 87, Block B.

8.

Needless to state that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits, as regards any dues which are payable by the petitioner with respect to the property tax or other charges.

The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

9.

With the aforesaid clarification, the present petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of.
