The present petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeks extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 4.

A learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed vide order dated 21.09.2022 passed in ARB.P. 1058/2021 to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. 5.

taken note of in the order dated 01.04.2023 issued by the learned Sole Arbitrator. On the said date, issues were also framed and the matter proceeded for recording of evidence.

Respective counsel for the parties submit that the evidence stands concluded and presently the matter is at the stage of final arguments.The petitioner is stated to have already concluded its arguments and the respondent's arguments are in progress.

Respective counsel for the parties jointly submit that a suitable extension of time be granted to enable the learned Sole Arbitrator to conclude the arbitral proceedings and make the arbitral award. 8.

Considering the averments made in the petition and submissions of respective counsel for the parties, the time period for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of arbitral award is extended till 31.03.2025. 9.
