By way of the present application, it has been sought that the respondent be directed to decide the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2024 which has been filed as Annexure-A to the main writ petition. 2.

Attention has been drawn to the reply filed on behalf of the respondent wherein it has been averred as under:- "A short reply has been filed by the Respondent averring in Paragraph 12 of the same as follows:-

12. Since the question of levy of stamp duty on transfer of share and transfer of immovable property is sub-judice before this Hon'ble Court, the Answering Respondent did not take any action on the representation dated 18.04.2024.

Copy of the Reply affidavit is annexed as Annexure "A" for ready reference. 3.

It is contended that the pendency of the present petition does not preclude the respondent from deciding the representation. 4.

In view of the aforesaid directions, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition, while reserving liberty to take appropriate legal remedies, if so warranted, upon disposal of the representation of the petitioner.
