1. The present petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ, directing Commissioner of Police, Delhi, SHO PS Bawana to provide proper police protection to the petitioners' life.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are major and willing to get married to each other. Learned counsel submits that they have already applied for the registration of marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are apprehending threat from the respondent No.2.

3. Issue notice.

4. Learned ASC has accepted the notice.

5. Learned ASC submits that he has already supplied the number of beat constable to the petitioners.

6. In view of the submissions of learned Standing counsel, SHO Bawana is directed to respond, if any complaint is made by the petitioners' and proceed as per law. He shall also provide protection to the petitioners in accordance with the law.

7. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the submissions made on behalf of the State, the present petition may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh petition in accordance with the law if required.

8. Liberty granted.

9. In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with the liberty as prayed for.
