The limited relief sought by the petitioner is that the respondent no.1 / District Magistrate, South East District, Delhi be directed to decide the complaint of petitioner dated 19.06.2024 filed against respondent nos.3 and 4 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Rules framed thereunder.

It is submitted that the rights of the petitioner, a senior citizen, aged about 75 years are being prejudiced on account of delay in adjudication of the aforesaid complaint.
