By way of instant petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR bearing No. 122/2025 dated 26.06.2025, registered at Police Station Defence Colony, South-East District, New Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter „IPC').

Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

On instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer (I.O.), the learned ASC for the State submits that the I.O. will file a closure report in this case before the next date of hearing.

In view thereof, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 5.
