This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of twelve months to make and publish the final Award.

It is stated that the matter is at the advanced stage and is listed for rejoinder arguments and that some delay was caused because of respondent's inability to pay the arbitral fee. Hence, the delay. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Ms. Walia, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 20/09/2025 at 12:39:45

In view of the aforesaid, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of twelve months from today to make and publish the final Award.
