Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though the respondent no.1 has been repeatedly stating before this Court that the encroachments on the property in question have been removed, a perusal of the status report filed by the respondent no.2 in itself shows that the said stand of the respondent no.1 is wrong. 2.

At this stage, Mr.Mittal, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 submits that the respondent no.1 has always taken steps to remove all encroachments. He states on instructions that the remaining encroachments, if any, at the site will be removed expeditiously and in any event within a period of four weeks, subject to the respondent no.1 getting police assistance. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.2 assures the Court that police assistance will duly be given to the respondent no.1 as and

when asked for.

In case, the petitioner still has any grievance, it will be open for him to seek revival of the present petition.
