This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal from 15.09.2024 to 15.10.2024.

It is stated that the arguments by both the parties have concluded and the award is almost ready.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31.10.2024 to make and publish the award. 9.
The period from 15.09.2024 till today stands regularized. 10.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
