This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final award.

Issue notice.

Mr Bajaj, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondent and opposes the application and states that the petitioner has filed extra copies of the statement of claims before the Arbitral Tribunal which led to the delay. 7.
