1. The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) quash the decision taken by Respondent in terms of its circular dated 08.03.2024 whereby it has decided not to consider the proposal / application submitted by the Petitioner Institution seeking approval to run B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability) course from academic session 2024-25; and (b) direct the Respondent to process and decide the pending proposal / application of the Petitioner Institution seeking grant of recognition to run the applied B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability) Course, for the ensuing academic session; and / or (c) pass any such other or further order, as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the facts & circumstances of the instant case and also in the interest of justice & equity."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court vide judgment dated 31.05.2024 in W.P.(C) 5398/2024 and other connected matters, quashed the circular dated 08.03.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, fairly conceded to the factum that as far as the circular dated 08.03.2024 is concerned, the same has already been quashed by this Court vide judgment dated 31.05.2024 in W.P.(C) 5398/2024. He, however, further submitted that as far as prayer (b) of the present petition is concerned, the respondent has already decided the pending application of the petitioner seeking grant of recognition to run the applied B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability) Course, for the ensuing academic session. Furthermore, learned counsel for the respondent undertakes to supply the copy of the decision taken by the respondent to the petitioner.

4. In view of the above facts and circumstances, nothing survives in the present petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of without prejudice to the contentions raised by the petitioner.
