This writ petition has been filed by an Advocate, seeking directions to the respondents in respect of discharge of sewage into a storm water drain of Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"] in the area of Moti Nagar.

The petitioner claims locus to maintain the writ petition on the basis that he noticed illegal activity "while passing by ward no. 90, Moti Nagar area".

Ms. Shefali Paul, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner has approached this Court in public interest. She seeks leave to withdraw this petition, with liberty to institute a Public Interest Litigation with the necessary averments and formalities. 4.
