HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 05.03.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent No.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Medication Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 11th September, 2017 and, therefore, FIR 750/2014 under sections 323/341/34 IPC and Section 23 of the Justice Juvenile Care and Protection of Children Act, 2000 registered at police station Mandawli on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. Respondent nos.2 to 4 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Parveen of police station Mandawli. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 11th September, 2017. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he has no objection in case FIR is quashed.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR 750/2014 under sections 323/341/34 IPC and Section 23 of the Justice Juvenile Care and Protection of Children Act, 2000 registered at police station Mandawli, and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscelleneous application is disposed of as infructous. Dasti.
