This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

This matter is being taken up today, as 25th November, 2025 was declared a holiday on account of 'Guru Tegh Bahadur's Martyrdom Day' vide Notification No. 35/G-4/Genl.-I/DHC.

The Petitioner in the present case seeks implementation of the Orderin-Original dated 26th June, 2025 by which the Petitioner has been allowed to redeem the gold kada weighing 92 grams which was detained by the Customs Department on 9th May, 2025.

On 24th September, 2025, notice was issued to the Customs Department and the same was accepted by Mr. Dikshit, ld. SSC. Further, ld. SSC was to seek instructions as to whether any appeal has been filed challenging the said Order-in-Original.

Today, a copy of the concerned appeal has been handed across by the ld. SSC. The same is stated to have been filed on 26th August, 2025. A copy of the appeal has been handed over to the Petitioner. 7.

In view of the above, let the appeal proceed in accordance with law. 8.
