CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

% 25.07.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Dinesh Kumar of police station Jamia Nagar. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A perusal of FIR shows that a quarrel took place regarding repair work done by respondent no.2 on a property, disputed between petitioners and respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, she has no objection in case FIR No.732/2015 under
sections 354/452/509/506/323/451/34 registered at police station Jamia Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 in this regard is also on record at pages 85-86.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J JULY 25, 2018 ab
