By way of the present petition, the petitioner/complainant has filed the underlying complaint under Section 138 of the N.I. Act and during the pendency of the same before the concerned Court, is seeking a speedy trial. Learned counsel for the petitioner claims that the trial is at the stage of complainant's cross-examination and the notice under 251 Cr.P.C. was framed on 25.02.2021. The matter is pending at the stage of complainant's cross examination since 10.09.2021. It is stated that the complainant has cited himself as the sole witness in the subject case. It has also come on record that the moratorium proceedings are pending against the accused company.

In view of the above, the petitions are disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to make the request before the Trial Court to consider the same in accordance with law.
