After some arguments, Mr. Abhay Kumar, learned counsel for the applicant, seeks permission to withdraw this bail application, with a direction for expeditious completion of the trial. 2.

The applicant is at liberty to request the learned Sessions Court for an expeditious trial, particularly in view of the long period of custody. The learned Sessions Court is requested to consider the applicant's request in accordance with its own board, and the age of the matters pending before it.

Mr. Aashneet Singh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, assures the Court that the prosecution will cooperate in this endeavour. 4.

The bail application is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as aforesaid.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations on the merits of the matter.
