% 25.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably;

therefore, FIR no.

1020/2015 under Sections 451/354/506/323 IPC registered at police station Neb Sarai and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Rambir Singh of police station Neb Sarai. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 1020/2015 under Sections 451/354/506/323 IPC registered at police station Neb Sarai and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
