A short affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents. It appears that the present petitioner has not been found suitable by the Standing Screening Committee, and therefore, he is not being considered for appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present contempt petition with liberty to take appropriate action, if any, in accordance with law. 3.

The present contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn without prejudice.
