The present petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 2.

Respective counsel for the parties draw attention of this Court to the fact that previously, this Court vide order dated 17.08.2023, extended the time period for completion of arbitral proceedings. It is submitted that the arbitral proceedings have progressed to the stage of final arguments. It is jointly requested that requisite extension be granted for completing the arbitral proceedings and making the arbitral award.

Accordingly, as jointly prayed for, the time period for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of arbitral award is extended till 31.01.2025. 4.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
