Present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner to seek protection. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. FIR No.1137/2017 under Section 376/506 IPC has been registered on the complaint of the petitioner and one Saroj Khan has been named therein. Saroj Khan has not yet been arrested. It is W.P.(CRL) 651/2018
informed that he has since been declared 'proclaimed offender'. His application for anticipatory bail has been listed for 25.04.2018. Record reveals that the petitioner was earlier granted protection by this court by an order dated 23.11.2017.

Learned Standing counsel, on instructions, informs that the protection granted by an order dated 23.11.2017 shall continue. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to provide necessary protection to the petitioner at the address given in the present petition in terms of the order dated 23.11.2017.
