% 19.01.2017 None for the Union of India. Mr. Bhagwan Swroop Shukla, Advocate is present in Court. We have requested him to appear for the Union of India. Challenge in this writ petition is to the order dated 24.04.2006 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, by which the OA filed by the petitioner was dismissed. Challenge was laid by the petitioner to the charge sheet which had been issued. We are informed that the inquiry stands completed and the order of penalty has been passed, which does not appear to have been challenged.

Today we are informed by Mr. Handoo, learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has died somewhere about two-three years back. Resultantly, we are of the view that the present writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
