% 24.08.2016 The Learned counsel for the parties submit that the lis has been settled. It is submitted that in terms of the settlement the respondent will be paid a sum of Rs. 1.60 lacs. Learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to court a demand draft bearing no. 528665 dated 17.08.2016 amounting to Rs. 50,000/-, drawn in favour of the petitioner. The same has been handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent. As regards the balance sum, it has been agreed by the parties that the amount of Rs. 1.10 lacs, which is lying deposited in this Court, shall be released to the respondent along with interest accrued thereon. Accordingly, upon an application being made by the respondent, let the said amount of Rs.1.10 lacs alongwith interest accrued thereon, be released to the respondent.

In view of the above, the petition stands disposed off. NAJMI WAZIRI, J AUGUST 24, 2016/kk
